The trouble with psychology
Interesting story. It's interesting what happens when people challenge the ideas purported by the non-normal gender/sex advocacy community. We easily say someone is suffering from delusions when they say they're Napoleon or Jesus, but if someone believes they are a woman trapped in a man's body, we must accept that unchallenged? Isn't it ultimately unfair to these troubled people to blindly accept their possible delusions that we mutilate their genitals?
I don't doubt that folks believe they were really meant to be ladies, but belief doesn't necessarily make reality.

The classic quote: academic feuds are so vicious, because the stakes are so small.
Look, penis jokes aren't appreciated in regards to a topic so sensitive as this.
And while I agree completely, one "large" aspect of arguments such as these is that the haters in society would use any science that insinuates non-normal behavior is anything but a hard-wired act of Nature. If there is the glimmer of an idea that there is choice or mental illness involved in non-standard sexual behavior, the LGBT advocacy community wants it quashed.
Please change first line to read: "Look, penis jokes aren't appreciated in a topic as pressing and sensitive as this."
